The Brooklands Society, who care for the history of the earliest purpose built racing track, which opened in 1907 and closed in 1939 at the start of World War II, issue a very nice quarterly A5 size magazine, the Gazette, which contains historic articles and period pictures.
These cater for races of both racing cars and motorcycles of all sizes and capacities and make a very worthwhile read.
This issiue is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the historic track. Famous cars in this issue are a 6-cylinder Napier, a straight eight Alfa Romeo, to name but a few.
