The Morgan Club Deutschland is one of the oldest, but certainly the biggest, Morgan clubs on the European continent. The popularity of Morgan really took off in the early 1970s, with Germany taking over from the USA as the most important export destination for Morgan.
 
Each year their traditional Whitsun meeting (Pfingsttreffen) is held in a different place. In 2001 it was held in the Bad Wildungen area, in the Sektion Rhein-Main.
 
Two versions of this badge were made:
with a cream centre section, the most common;
with a white centre section, quite rare.
 
The difference becomes the most obvious when having a close look at the lion. A lovely, well-balanced badge.
