The Morgan Sports Car Club Austria is one of the several Morgan clubs on the European continent that were initiated in the mid/late 1970s. The club started life in 1977, so is due to celebrate its golden anniversary in 3 years time.
 
It has issued very few badges over the years, compared with most other Morgan clubs on the European continent. The club logo appeared on the original badge, which was re-issued in slightly more balanced form in 2011. 
 
Although the badges look identical on first sight, the letters on the the original badge -issued in 1977- are grouped closer together, while the later badge -issued in 2011- is well balanced with regard to spread of the letters. The shade of red used in the banner is also slightly brighter on the original version. The original badge has a section of 85mm, the 2011 version 84mm.
 
Both copies available have been on display only and are thus excellent. A great opportunity!
