The Morgan Sports Car Club of Japan officially was initiated in 1972. Its early badges did not display the club's full name, but rather Morgan club of Japan. 
 
Only a small number of these -simple- round badges were made, though it is not known exactly how many. Even fewer survive. It is extremely unusual to come across one.
 
The badge on offer dates from approximately 1977.
 
The earliest version had two small steel mounting screws at the rear, while on this version they were copper. Unfortunately, one screw is missing. Otherwise the badge is in perfect condition and has been on display only. It has a section of 90mms, so is quite large.
