Back in 2002, the Morgan Motor Company introduced a new model, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the famous Le Mans class win by Chris Lawrence. 40 cars of the Morgan Plus 8 Le Mans model were made.
 
Faith had it that at that time Chris Lawrence was the Morgan Motor Company's main development engineer!
 
One copy of the press photo of the Works Car Le Mans 62 Plus 8 has come to the fore, still unused.
