Texas has two Morgan clubs, based around two of its main cities. The Morgan Motor Car Club Texas is Dallas based, while the Morgans on the Gulf Morgan Owners Group (in short: MOG MOG) is centred around Houston. MOG MOG was inaugurated in 1985.
 
For the occasion a special badge was based, which became the trade mark of the club. A gulf area beneath Morgan wings, the shape of the badge itself being just more than a semi-circle.

On the rear "1985 Inaugural badge" is stamped. The badge was also designed by master badge maker James Baker and comes numbered.

Later badges of the same club followed the same pattern, with different colour varieties.
