The Eleven Cities Tour (Elfstedentocht) in the northern province Friesland of The Netherlands is best known for its skating heritage.
 
Quite a few other clubs use the same route for other types of events. Also the Friese Motor Club organises the tour for their members on motorcycles, along the famous route annually, for many years.
 
The plaque on offer dates from the 1950s and is very well preserved. A rare find.
 
The plaque measures approx. 48 x 54mm and has 4 fixing holes.
