Long after the original MG brand became history, the MG MGB model was "revived" by introducing the MG RV 8.
 
From a distance it looked like the old time MGB, but it had a 3.9 litres V8 engine under the bonnet, which made for excellent performance.
 
In old-fashioned BRG livery it looked the part.
