Morgan 1980, or MOG 80 in brief, was the first big international Morgan meeting, which set the trend for future Morgan gatherings. It took place on the grounds of the Beaulieu Motor Museum and Goodwood racing circuit. It was attended by hundreds of Morgans from the UK and Europe and even further afield.
 
Of the happenings, a Super 8 film was produced by STS Film Productions and this was converted into the DVD available here. It brings back sweet memories and shows nice images of the different parts of the programme and the variety of Morgan 3-wheelers and 4-wheelers present.
 
Unique is the Channel crossing by Hovercraft by some 40 different Morgans, from several European countries.
 
You also see Morgan 3-wheelers and 4-wheelers live in action in a sprint race on Goodwood track.
 
At the same time, it is natural in the sense that the images have not been retouched, moved, etc.
 
A lovely piece of Morgan history.
