The second Le Mans Classic event for which the Morgan Sports Car Club issued a series of badges was the 2006 edition. 
Five  colour varieties and 3 special edition badges were made, of which this gold plated version is one. It was primarily meant for prize giving and solely 5 copies were made. Therefore, it's extremely rare.
The badge in  question has never been used on a car, solely been on display.
