The Ford Escort was a very successful rally car from instigation. Worldwide, the model scored many significant wins in different events.
 
A very good team was the Dutch/Belgian team of Eric Bessem and Gilbert Stapelaere. They won the famous Tulip Rallye in 1977 in their Ford Escort RS 1800. This lovely decal was dedicated to them.
